Gábor Dénes-díj (Dennis Gabor award) 2020

The Dennis Gabor award (Gábor Dénes-díj) established in 1989 by Novofer Foundation, was awarded the 32nd time to honor the technical creativity in the civil sphere.

This year Imre Kacskovics, dean of Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Science, executive of ImmunoGenes Kft. and ImmunoGenes-ABS Zrt., was one of the awarded, for his work in:

•  invention and introduction of a more effective method in antibody development;
• establishing the pharmaco-biotechnology masters degree in Eötvös Loránd University;
• successful management of ELTE Biotechnology FIEK;
• and development of a fusion protein for prevention and treatment of COVID-19
